I'll takes some pics next time I see them. I usually only see them like once a week so I think they are people's weekend cars. Seen a 924S as well as a 280Z and a 69 Camaro someone here has two different classic minis too. Fiat and Chrysler test their cars on the road up to the base as well so i've seen Alfa Romeo 4C and other interesting cars before they were released. I've been considering getting a dash cam or a go pro or something.

Heres the only car i've taken a pic of there because I was parked near it. I feel funny about taking pics of peoples cars on a base especially since i'm a civilian but I didn't even remember the last time i've ever seen one so i had to do it.

At my air guard base it was in Cali and they had Triumph TR6, TR8, 911s, MGB, etc. Never had a chance to take a picture because I only saw them when I was commuting on base and at lunch break I could never find them. Guard was like a outing for some of these people so they would drive out for the weekend with their classics.

Theres one about 90 minutes from me with the 5spd for $2300. It's got like 50,000 miles straight pipes but, and this is a pretty big but, its been in an accident and is missing a fender. Ad said its been fixed apart from that missing fender. And I can afford it but my moms not being a helper with this. DD and first car. Don't think it would be that bad.

yay you finally joined me in the 944 life!!! Now you can be a true porsche tamer. So it's pre 89 from the front bumper and lack of airbag in the steering wheel but from the updated interior looks to be post 85.5 so I'm guessing 86? Anyway make sure the timing belt and water pump have been done recently and she'll treat you well. If you have any questions or problems just ask I've had mine for two years now and I've encountered most of the problems you'll face. If I haven't dealt with it tell me how it goes cause I'll probably run into it sooner or later.

Thanks! it's an '84 and while the T-belt has been done, the owner is checking on the maintenance records to see if the water pump was done as well. It needs new shocks as well, so I'll be going the Blistein route as well.

huh I swear it looked like it had the new interior (feeling stupid) if he's not sure about the water pump definitely get it replaced because it's one of those pieces that is better safe than sorry. If you go the bilsteins route tell me how it goes because I'm saving up for http://www.kw-store.com/products/kw-co… suspension and if the bilsteins are good I might do that since it's cheaper.
